Prague Castle South Gardens

We're starting our second week today and w're headed to Nurmberg by train through Pilzen.
I have added a few more pics. from our visit to Prague Castle; We descended the castle through the south gardens below the palace and it ended up being a beautiful walk with great views of the city. At the bottom of the descent we met up with Elizabeth and Steve to share beers at the Letna Park beer garden! (great concept: public green spaces dedicated to beer!)

We'd like to share pictures of Cseky Krumlov, and the palace here, but our card does not want to work right now; Maybe later.

First real post

I can not believe it has been a week already! Russ has been alble to post a couple tests from the iPhone, but blogging from this mobile device seems to be a bit more involved than first anticipated.

Anyway, Prague is an amazing city and we would recommend it to any couple looking for a romantic destination. We are both so stunned by the quantity of ancient buildings still standing proudly through out the city and in full use to this day.

Today we left the city and traveled 3 hrs. south to the country side to the town of Csekz Kromluv. It is a charming european town. We will post more about this later.

Prague is great

more to come soon!

Gett'n Ready for Departure

Russ has a list!!! In seven years I've never seen Russ make a list! (He's reading it to me now as I type!)

We've decided to do minimal planning and just see what intrigues us when we get there. Russ has purchased three books on Prague and the Czech Republic, so we've got plenty of guides and Elizabeth has provided great local insight so we are in good hands!
Stay tuned; we'll keep family and friends posted.
